2021 Petit Verdot, Pocai Vineyard

This single vineyard is a very small production wine crafted to show the diversity of this grape. Petit Verdot is usually blended into Cabernet Sauvignon to add color and a nuance of spice that adds additional complexity to any wine. We are fortunate to grow a few acres on the east side of Pocai Vineyard, where this late-ripening grape thrives. 

Bottle on its own, you can experience a rich and hearty bottle of wine. This fruit-driven wine showcases savory blackberry pie, violet, vanilla, and graham cracker notes.  The wine is big and juicy with complimentary acid and a long finish.
